I painted the shutters, I think they look very nice. Then I put the little iron fence back up and touched up the paint on it as well. My project and immediate gratification. I like them that way. Oh, and I pulled the Boston Ivy from the front of the house with the exception of the fireplace chimney. Can't quite commit to that yet. It looks so nice and clean but I know I'm going to miss it. I didn't pull the plants from the ground yet so...I have options!

it does look clean, but i love the ivy! and the shutters look great. now just do something about that horribly era-mismatched walkway!
