is anyone out there looking?

I wouldn't blame you if you were not bothering to check out my blog as it has been so long since I posted anything. Guess having fun now that we are back home in northern CA takes all of my time.

We visited a great car museum during our recent visit to Michigan, http://gilmorecarmuseum.org/. Here is the cutest guy along with the cutest car in the place. This is actually the last Checker Marathon that rolled off of the line in 1982. Dad was there! It was his last day before retirement.

And this is pretty much the extent of our outdoor time. It was SO HOT. We went to the lack shore and drank smoothies in the shade. It was beautiful and I wish we could spend a week there. Maybe another year we'll do that.

Should I rename my blog?

Ry, Alicia and Tara came to visit and I have renewed inspiration to get back to posting. We had a fun visit and a great sushi dinner. Thanks kids for coming to visit our new loft and watch for more photos to come of life...a little bit closer to Gualala. So now that we're back home, should I rename my blog?

What have I been doing?

How can it be that the last time I posted was Halloween. How many life changes have happened since these fun times! I'll get back at with this picture of Taxi - what a beauty he is!

A Halloween First Birthday Celebration

We did not care a bit that everyone else in the State celebrated Halloween a day early. We had our own fun!

Thanks to my beautiful little friends.

Possibly my favorite stop in Ireland - clonmacnoise

Clonmacnoise is a beautiful monastery that was built in 545 and active until the 12th century. It was such a peaceful place to wander, take pictures, imagine the history and the people that have shared this space over so many years.

for Robin!

beautiful wool from the Woolen Mills

Ireland's castles, green countryside and, of course, the blarney stone!

The craic was great!

New friends, old friends, fun times, lots of laughter, a wee bit of drink, great music and dance, and our very own special little leprechaun!
