Ok, this is it. This is the drive along California Highway 1 at the Gualala River on the way in to town and just north of our future home, The Sea Ranch! I think Billy took this picture while he and Kevin were having a picnic lunch on a bench. It's a beautiful and peaceful place to be.
But, before we get there we have a few miles, and a few States, to travel. Thus begins my blog to share our route to Sea Ranch and the long way to Gualala.

By "getting your act together" I mean the obvious part about putting your home together but also :
1. Get Chip adjusted to his new
food schedule.
2. Buy Taxi several more blankets
to prepare for the winter ahead.
3. Find a name for your "warm room"
4. Get a sturdy shovel.
5. Find a road that will allow you
to drive 25 mph in the snow and ice( no matter WHAT the speed limit).
6.Send Kevin out to locate the perfect place in Utah to purchase
California wine :-)
