Fun weekend #2, part 1

Only 1 picture but it was so fun to spend the afternoon shopping at the outlets with Leilani, Tara, and Sophie!

Sophie is so happy to just hang out with us....get it? This was taken in the fitting room while trying on clothes. She is SO cute!

Fun weekend #1

kitchen - counter & backsplash

We love how our kitchen turned out. It fits the style of the house but also looks clean and modern. It even has those TSR elements in the colors, sea and sand!

Backyard continued - where the hot tub used to be

We're not yet finished. We still have to set a few of the pavers and then plan the irish moss in between but I can already see how extraordinary it's going to look. And, most of all, I love that we re-purposed pavers that were unattractively scattered all around our yard.

Cherry blossoms

It's soon to be a mess of blooms and then cherries all over the backyard but at this point - beauty!

My weekend project

I painted the shutters, I think they look very nice. Then I put the little iron fence back up and touched up the paint on it as well. My project and immediate gratification. I like them that way. Oh, and I pulled the Boston Ivy from the front of the house with the exception of the fireplace chimney. Can't quite commit to that yet. It looks so nice and clean but I know I'm going to miss it. I didn't pull the plants from the ground yet so...I have options!

April...what????

Truly, the snow just keeps on coming. These are 3 separate April snow storms. And, we're expecting another one tonight!
