We do get around. This was our wild and fun birthday bash! Happy 6th birthday Jo Jo!!

Diana, you are the best grandma! I only know one other grandma that would get in the jumping gym with the kids and she's in a prior post wearing a thong on a cowboy hat!!!



Ok, so maybe she had a moment when she thought we might all be insane but..in her defense, there were approximately 27 kids under the age of 7...for 2 hours. It was martini time!!

Texas for a Navy Reunion with Mom & Charles

We had a great afternoon in Lukenbach. Our entire visit was great. The weather was wonderful and it was so fun to have time with Mom & Charles! Thank you for inviting us to join you!!!

NYE 2008

We took the opportunity to go explore and spent our anniversary in Moab, UT. It was very cold and very beautiful!

Christmas morning snow play

It's now our 2nd annual tradition to go to the park and enjoy the snow and sledding while everyone else is opening presents on Christmas morning. We then go home to a great breakfast and start the gift exchange. It's great family time.

Christmas Eve - 2008

Tara, Shannon, and Michael joined us. I guess I didn't take pictures of everyone. It was a fun quiet evening. Tara has a beautiful new pop-up Night Before Christmas book from Grandma. The traditional reading (by Grandma) happened over speaker phone. We all got to listen and enjoy.

MJ arrived here in the beginning of December. Lots of change ahead but he made it before the first big snow! We promptly took him out for a hike. Nearly killed him but he kept smiling!!

Sorry that I was late in getting these posted so they are out of holiday order. I thought I had posted them and hadn't. We had a wonderful time and saw amazing places along the drive there and back.
